Aim and Benefits of  Glasgow Undergraduate Scholarship

 

The value of the scholarship is £2,000, paid in instalments for year one of undergraduate study.

Requirements for University of Glasgow Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

The scholarship is open to new applicants to the university for 2024 entry. Current students who have previously been in receipt of the award may reapply, however, preference will be given to applicants entering their first year of study.

• Be classed as ‘Home’ or ‘RUK’ for fee purposes
• Have firmly accepted an offer of a place to study a full-time undergraduate programme, at the University in the forthcoming academic year (September 2024)
• Identify as as being of Black African/African-Caribbean heritage
• Provide evidence that your, or your family’s, circumstances are such that you may find it difficult to take up a place at the University for financial or other reasons.
• Be undertaking your first undergraduate degree
